US Army awards contract to Lockheed Martin to produce eighth THAAD battery

Pentagon’s No.1 weapons supplier Lockheed Martin announced Tuesday that it has received a declaration totaling $74 million to nutrient the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Weapon System for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
